Ian R Woodall, Chief Executive

Ian is the Founder and Managing Director of Lonkal Consulting. Lonkal Consulting provides investment supervision, oversight and governance consulting.

Ian has held a variety of outsourced positions ranging from Operations Director (Investments) for a family office to Chief Investment Officer for a large public pension fund. Ian has a wide range of experience in the UK pensions, banking operations and the cash management market.

Ian is married with two children; he graduated from the University of Adelaide (Australia) with a Bachelor of Arts degree and also holds an Honours Degree from the same university. Ian is active in a number of charities both in the UK and in Southern Africa.

Ian holds a number of professional memberships and Ian is also a regular speaker on pension and treasury industry issues, trends and best practices; as well as corporate governance, leadership, entrepreneurship and ethics in business.
